SHU baseball sweeps Manhattan, has won nine straight

The Seton Hall baseball team completed a three-game sweep of the Manhattan Jaspers with a doubleheader on Saturday.

The Pirates won the second game after being down two runs going into the bottom of the seventh. Senior Brett Fontenelli tied the game after bringing in two runs off a single in the seventh. Sophomore Mike Alescio brought in the game-winning run off a single to complete the rally in the eighth.

Chris Morris got the start for the Blue and White, going five innings. The sophomore gave up two early runs in the first two innings, but settled in for the next three.
