Fans of Seton Hall may feel a sense of déjà vu as the team prepares to play against Villanova in the Big East Tournament semifinals.
A matchup with so much history in the last two seasons, Villanova and Seton Hall’s rivalry may have reached its climax when the Pirates upset the Wildcats in the Big East finals last season.
For head coach Kevin Willard, that sense of déjà vu is almost nonexistent.
“I think both years are a little different. Each opponent has been a little different,” Willard said of this and last year’s Seton Hall teams.
