Seton Hall edges Georgetown, 68-66, in OT to stop bleeding

(Rafael Suanes)

It wasn't quite a must-win for Seton Hall. But after losing five of their last six games, the Pirates' showdown with Georgetown on Saturday was pretty close to it.

Seton Hall needed overtime, but found a way to stop the bleeding and keep their postseason hopes alive.

Desi Rodriguez hit a floater in the lane off an assist from Myles Powell with 1:10 left in overtime that would prove to be the game-winning basket as the Pirates held on for a 68-66 victory over Georgetown at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.
