On April 23, seniors Desi Rodriguez and Angel Delgado took home their final honors as members of the Seton Hall men’s basketball program, as the two were named to the All-Met first team by the Metropolitan Writers Association.
Joining Rodriguez and Delgado on the first team were LIU Brooklyn’s Joel Hernandez, Fairfield’s Tyler Nelson, Hofstra’s Justin Wright-Foreman and St. John’s guard Shamorie Ponds, who was named the 85th Haggarty award winner on April 25 for best player in the Metropolitan area.
Both Rodriguez and Delgado were instrumental in Seton Hall winning its first NCAA Tournament game since 2004.
