The Seton Hall men’s soccer team defeated DePaul 2-1 on Saturday night in a nail biter decided by Stephen Elias’ 85th minute goal.
Elias, the leading goal scorer and captain for the Pirates, notched his fourth of the season when he was the first to react to the second bounce off a corner kick.
“Those second balls are the most dangerous balls in soccer,” Elias said. “That’s when the team shut off right there and then. The ball back in and going up for a header with keeper. I was lucky that it bounced and as soon as it did, I was swinging for it.
