The Seton Hall men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Embry-Riddle Invitational in Daytona Beach, Fla. on Sunday, finishing in sixth place and first place respectively.
The women’s team dominated with four runners finishing in the top ten and earning a final score of 50 overall. Emma Newgarden placed at the top of the team with a time of 20:00.3, followed by Olivia Hernandez, Emily Hernandez, and Kassi Yocco.
Newgarden, Hernandez, Hernandez, and Yocco have been instrumental for the Pirates so far this season, placing in the top ten at the last two meets at Monmouth and Stony Brook as well.
