Pirates grind out tough away win over Creighton

The Seton Hall men’s basketball team extended its two-game winning streak to three after beating Creighton, 81-75, on Sunday afternoon in a tightly contested match.

For the second straight game, depth came through for the Pirates, as they had four starters in double figures for points. Myles Cale led the way with 20 on the day, Myles Powell had 19, Sandro Mamukelashvili had 17, and Quincy McKnight had 16.

Cale and Mamukelashvili dropped a combined eight points as the Pirates opened the match on a 12-2 run. Following their opening two points, the Blue Jays went 0-for-6 from the floor before calling a timeout.
