The Seton Hall men’s golf team traveled to Malvern, Pa. this past weekend to compete in the Villanova Invitational. In the three-day tournament, the Pirates finished sixth.
The team, which included Chris Yeom, Gen Nagai, Alex Chalk, Gregor Tait, and Deven Ramachandran, ended the weekend 16 points behind first place with 880 points (296-288-296). Andres Acevedo competed as an individual.
Yeom had his second consecutive top-10 finish as he tied with Georgetown’s Eduardo Blochtein and VCU’s Alston Newsom for 10th place. His 73-70-75 scoreline was the best of any Seton Hall competitor and was just three points short of tying for first place.
