The Seton Hall women’s volleyball team competed in the Hofstra Invitational this past weekend, going 1-2 against Dartmouth College, Columbia University, and Hofstra University.
On Friday, the team lost to Dartmouth in three straight sets. During the first set, the teams traded kills. Caitlin Koska and Abby Thelen led the way and combined for eight kills, but the Pirates ultimately fell 25-19.
The Pirates took off in set two with an 8-1 lead, but it was quickly diminished, and Dartmouth held on to take the set 25-22. The Pirates stayed close in the third set, never falling behind by more than two points, but Dartmouth was able to squeeze out the victory 25-23.
