The Seton Hall men’s and women’s cross country teams each came out victorious at last weekend’s Cappy Anderson Invitational in Princess Anne, Md.
Both squads showed dominance in their fields, headed by Jesse Southard on the men’s side, who blazed through the 8K run with a time of 26:36.30. Emma Newgarden was the star for the women’s team, as her first place finish led the way for a Pirates squad that saw six top-10 finishers.
Sisters Emily and Olivia Hernandez, who finished eighth and seventh last week respectively, again crossed the finish line consecutively, this time in the third and fourth place spots.
