Chris Yeom tied for third place out of 74 individual golfers with a 2-under-par weekend, helping the Seton Hall men’s golf team to a sixth-place finish at the 2018 Rutherford Intercollegiate, which took place from Saturday to Sunday, in State College, Pa.
Yeom, who finished five strokes behind the overall individual winner, Penn State’s Cole Miller, recorded his third top-five result of the 2017-18 season and fifth sub-par result, with a 69-69-73-211 over the three rounds at the par-71 course. The junior from Flushing, N.Y. led the Pirates with the lowest individual score in each of the weekend’s three rounds.
