McGlynn named women’s tennis head coach

Kevin McGlynn has signed on as head coach for the Seton Hall women’s tennis program, taking over a Pirates squad which he also coached from 1991-96, Seton Hall announced Wednesday. McGlynn’s hiring comes after Riza Zalameda resigned, citing personal reasons.

“We are excited that Kevin is returning to Seton Hall to lead our women’s tennis program,” Seton Hall athletic director Pat Lyons said in a press release. “He had terrific success here in his first tenure as the program’s head coach, and with his expertise and his past experience, we know our student-athletes will be ready to compete.
