The Seton Hall women’s soccer team drew, 2-2, with LIU Brooklyn on Wednesday evening. Stealing the show for the Pirates was Siobhan McGovern, who found the back of the net twice in the match.
The Blackbirds got on the board first, taking the lead in the 24th minute on a goal by Kimberly Butland. However, Seton Hall responded quickly, as McGovern connected on a rebound from a Dani Camilleri shot in the 30th minute. Just a few moments later, LIU Brooklyn was awarded a penalty kick, and the Blackbirds took advantage, going back up by one. The score stayed 2-1 going into the half.
