SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Kyren Williams ran for two touchdowns after regulation and No. 4 Notre Dame prevailed in a see-saw battle with No. 1 Clemson, 47-40, in double overtime in one of the season's most anticipated games Saturday night.
For the game, Williams finished with 140 yards and three scores on 23 carries, as Notre Dame rallied late after leading early in this ACC battle.
Fighting Irish quarterback Ian Book completed 22 of 39 passes for 310 yards and a score, as Notre Dame improved to 7-0, 6-0 in the league, strengthening their hopes for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
