So now we know that Kevin Willard, once believed to be the sturdiest branch on the rotting Rick Pitino coaching tree, built his Seton Hall program with a page stolen straight from the Pitino playbook.
Now we know that Willard's desperate quest to return the Big East program in South Orange to relevancy -- which, until a guard from Brooklyn named Isaiah Whitehead came along, was an utter failure -- was the byproduct of the same sleaze that brought down his old mentor at Louisville.
Willard's name doesn't appear in the eye-popping Yahoo Sports report that landed Friday morning, but his program is at the very center of it.
