NEW YORK -- Kevin Willard says he has nothing to hide.
The Seton Hall coach told reporters after Saturday's overtime win at St. John's he is "confident" his program has done things "the right way," and welcomes an investigation of his program by an outside law firm.
Willard's comments come following a bombshell Yahoo Sports report, citing discovery documents from a federal probe of corruption in college basketball's underworld, that alleged former Pirates star Isaiah Whitehead and assistant coach Tiny Morton received loans from a sports agency.
The apparent payments would violate NCAA rules, and could put Seton Hall in the governing body's crosshairs with a risk of retroactive punishment.
