Goff, Rams reach extension through '24 season

The Los Angeles Rams and quarterback Jared Goff agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension that will keep Goff with the team through the 2024 season, the team announced Tuesday night.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Goff, 24, is entering the fourth season of his five-year rookie deal. He was scheduled to earn $4.3 million this season and $22.8 million in 2020. At the outset of training camp, Rams general manager Les Snead said that it was "not a matter of if but when" a deal would be made with Goff, and Rams coach Sean McVay said that he hoped to be "stuck" with Goff for a long time.
