Most SEC programs are preparing for their bowl games, but recruiting hasn't been ignored - especially not with the early signing period coming later in December. Here are the top 10 recruits that have already pledged their commitments to an SEC program:
10) WR Jalen Preston - Texas A&M Aggies
Preston has an excellent combination of size and speed at 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds, which has him ranked as the No. 93 overall prospect in the country. He committed to the Aggies in July under the Kevin Sumlin regime but is scheduled to make his official visit next weekend.
9) DE Jordan Davis - Alabama Crimson Tide
The 6-foot-5, 238-pounder has committed to Alabama for a year and continues to rise up recruiting rankings thanks to his athleticism and versatility. Davis needs to get stronger but will enroll early, giving him an extra semester to bulk up.
8) OT Richard Gouraige - Florida Gators
Gouraige announced his commitment to the Gators in October, but still made an unofficial visit to Auburn for the Iron Bowl, indicating that he may not be 100 percent sold on Florida - especially after a coaching change. Still, the 6-foot-6, 270-pounder looks like a promising left tackle prospect thanks to his footwork and physical tools.
7) DE Stephon Wynn - Alabama Crimson Tide
Wynn is a physical beast at 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds with the athleticism and versatility to play either defensive end or defensive tackle for the Tide. He's the first of two Alabama commits that are top 70 overall prospects.
6) LB Quay Walker - Alabama Crimson Tide
The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder is an incredible athlete with speed to burn. He's stil raw defensively, but has the ability to both rush the passer and cover both tight ends and running backs. As the No. 64 overall prospect in the country, he's Alabama's highest-rated commit right now, though both Georgia and Florida State are still heavily pursuing him.

5) QB Matt Corral - Florida Gators
Corral is the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in this recruiting class and gave his pledge to Florida in July. Given the Gators' lackluster quarterback play, there's a chance he could start immediately under new head coach Dan Mullen. He plays with incredible poise and has a rocket for an arm.
4) LB Adam Anderson - Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia, now the SEC champs, has all of the top four recruits on this list, starting with Anderson. At 6-foot-2 and 214 pounds, he is the top-ranked outside linebacker in the class thanks to his motor and speed. He needs to add weight and strength to make an impact in the SEC, but his athleticism is special.
3) RB James Cook - Georgia Bulldogs
With Nick Chubb and Sony Michel leaving Athens, Cook - Vikings running back Dalvin Cook's brother - is set to join D'Andre Swift and Zamir White (more on him below) in forming the next great Georgia running back duo. He's already a great receiver out of the backfield and showcases incredible vision.
2) RB Zamir White - Georgia Bulldogs
While landing Cook was great, getting White - the No. 6 overall prospect in the country - was even bigger for the Bulldogs. The top-ranked running back in the country has been committed since June and already has the size and strength of an elite SEC runner at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds. It looks like he has a chance to be a star almost immediately.
1) QB Justin Fields - Georgia Bulldogs
Fields is the No. 2 overall prospect in the country, marking the third-straight year in which Georgia has received a commitment from one of the nation's top quarterbacks. The 6-foot-3, 221-pounder had originally committed to Penn State in December but decommitted in June. He's a great runner with a big arm, and while he needs to work on his accuracy, he can do everything on the field.
