After lackluster wins against Utah Valley and Vermont, fans were worried about how the No. 7 Kentucky Wildcats basketball men’s team would handle the No. 4 Kansas Jayhawks on Tuesday night in the Champions Classic in Chicago, Ill. Although the Wildcats did fall short and were defeated 65-61, the young team did give the Jayhawks a good game.
Freshman forward Kevin Knox played a great game in the Wildcats’ first real test of the season. Knox struggled in his first two games with the Wildcats, but he did not let that stop him from scoring on one of the top five teams in the nation.
