Not every SEC bowl game is equal. Some are in premier destinations like New Orleans, Tampa or Charlotte where it's warm and players get a chance to to play in an NFL stadium. Others are held in places like Shreveport, Louisiana, or in stadiums (Legion Field) that haven't been relevant in 15 years.
It's still a bowl game, though. And at the end of the day, that's all that matters. The players get to keep playing, the coaches get to keep coaching, and the fans can still travel to see their team one last time before the end of the season.
