Well, week one of the college football season certainly didn’t disappoint, but a majority of the SEC Football teams did. The poor weekend for the conference (brutal for my predictions) started with an underwhelming performance from a supposed playoff contender in Tennessee and it only went down hill from there as LSU, Mississippi State, and Kentucky all suffered embarrassing losses. It’s clear that many of the teams in the league have a major quarterback problem that will probably not get much better as the season progresses.
However, it wasn’t all bad for the SEC. Alabama once again appeared to be the best team in the country with a complete dismantling of USC.
