Ole Miss fans likely won’t remember Tray Scott’s name in a year or two. The defensive line coach left North Carolina to take the same position at Ole Miss on Jan. 1. However, his stint in Oxford lasted a little over a month before Kirby Smart came in and hired him away to Georgia.
Scott did stay with Ole Miss through signing day, though, and while his departure was abrupt, he and new defensive coordinator Wesley McGriff helped the Rebels land a pair of interior defensive linemen -- Tae-Kion Reed and Sincere David -- in the week leading up to signing day.
