BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU wide receiver Trey Quinn announced Tuesday on Twitter that he will transfer to another football program.
"For now, I have to follow the path the Lord has set out for me," Quinn posted in his message. "I’m glad I can say I was an LSU Tiger."
After setting a national high school receiving record with 6,566 yards at Barbe High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Quinn was the No. 29 overall prospect and No. 3 wideout in the 2014 ESPN 300. Initially he looked like a future college star, but Quinn’s production did not match up with his high school pedigree.
