Texans running back Arian Foster may be back much sooner than originally expected. The original timetable for Foster's return was 3-6 months and he was widely considered a candidate for I.R./designated for return. Now there is "growing optimism" surrounding the Texans' organization that Foster may only miss 4-6 weeks. The surgery was not as serious as first believed and sports hernia surgery is usually a quicker recovery. He's expected to step right back into the RB1 slot as soon as he can get back on the field.
FANTASY ANALYSIS
This is huge news! If Foster only misses 4-6 weeks, he could be back around Week 5.
