AUBURN, Ala. – Don’t call Montravius Adams a “momma’s boy” to his face. He probably wouldn't appreciate that. But for Adams, now a senior at Auburn, it always has been about his mom. She has been his motivation.
Debbie Young raised Adams and his three older sisters on her own. She worked two to three jobs at time, and there were days where she wouldn’t see her kids until she arrived home from her second job at 11 p.m. or sometimes midnight. Still, she'd make sure there was always food on the table and that somebody was always around to watch over and take care of them.
