Take Two: More impressive turnaround, Kentucky or Vanderbilt?

Remember back in September when there were fans and media members alike calling for both Mark Stoops and Derek Mason to be fired?

Kentucky opened the season 0-2 with losses to Southern Miss and Florida. The second wouldn’t have been as bad if not for the fact that the Wildcat quarterbacks threw as many interceptions as they did completions. Vanderbilt, meanwhile, lost two of its first three games and if not for an overtime win at Western Kentucky, the Commodores would have been staring at 1-3.

Now? Both teams are bowl eligible.
