BATON ROUGE, La. -- Ed Orgeron needed only a quick glance at Leonard Fournette to know that the former LSU star had dropped weight.
Fournette generated headlines at last month's NFL combine by weighing in at 240 pounds -- perhaps a bit hefty for a running back -- but was down to 228 in time for Wednesday's pro day.
"When I saw him walk in today at 228 without a shirt on, I didn't know what he was going to weigh and I said, 'He lost weight, he looks great,'" said Orgeron, LSU's head coach.
