OXFORD, Miss. – After Saturday’s 40-29 win over Ole Miss, Auburn running back Kamryn Pettway was dripping in sweat as he waited for SEC Network sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung to interview him. There were grass stains all over his white road uniform. He was anxious to get it over with so he could go celebrate with his teammates.
But when Hartung asked what weaknesses he saw from the Rebels that he took advantage of, his answer was perfect.
“Nobody really wanted to tackle me,” Pettway said.
He wasn’t wrong. On Auburn’s opening drive, Pettway took a handoff on third-and-1, bounced off a would-be tackler and went 41 yards for a touchdown.
