As I finished my preview of the Super Regionals at the end of the week, I fully envisioned myself writing an update with at least 3 of the 5 SEC teams having locked up a spot in the College World Series come Sunday night. Well, needless to say, things haven’t exactly gone according to plan. Not a single SEC team has locked up a spot in Omaha. Oh yeah, I guess now would also be a good time to mention that out of the 5 teams the SEC sent to the Super Regionals, only 1 has a chance to advance to Omaha.
