SEC football is unlike college football anywhere else in the country. Sure, the ACC was better last season, and the Big Ten is heavy at the top with three teams in the top 10 of the preseason polls this season, but like the Southeastern Conference slogan goes: In the SEC, it just means more.
The Southeastern Conference has the biggest stadiums, the most passionate fans, and the best players. But in 2017, it certainly does not have the best coaches. The current crop of SEC football coaches are so unproven, it’s scary.
There are several coaches that could end up being great, but it’s still too early to tell.
