Is quarterback Brandon McIlwain's position to lose in 2016?
Coming out of spring, it seemed as though the true freshman was the leader to start at quarterback. As he enters fall camp, the battle is down to him, Perry Orth, Lorenzo Nunez (who will also play receiver) and fellow freshman Jake Bentley. Coach Will Muschamp has said that all four will have every opportunity to push for the starting spot, but McIlwain's play this spring certainly gave him a bit of a cushion.
