Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, who reportedly suffered a UCL injury in his right elbow, is not expected to play for the Bulldogs on Jan. 1 in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals.
Pete Nakos of On3 reported the news on Beck Thursday.
Beck suffered the injury after he got hit while attempting to throw a Hail Mary pass on the final play in the first half of his team's 22-19 overtime win over Texas in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 8. Backup Gunner Stockton took over for Beck.
