Mississippi State and Missouri are heading in different directions, but their paths will converge on Thursday.
The Bulldogs, riding a three-game winning streak, and the Tigers, suffering through a three-game losing streak, meet in an SEC cross-divisional battle this week at Mizzou’s Faurot Field.
Both teams are coming off an open date over the weekend, meaning there is no short turnaround to deal with ahead of the weeknight kickoff. The practice schedule is tweaked for a Thursday night kickoff, however.
“The preparation is a little different than other bye weeks in the past,” Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen said at his Monday news conference.
