Breakdown: Really, you could’ve picked any of the three position groups on an Ole Miss defense that finished last in the SEC in scoring defense, allowing 34 points per game. The Rebels were especially bad against the run, giving up 246.3 yards per game. They were not only last in the SEC in that department. They were No. 120 out of 128 FBS teams.
But the weakest link on last year’s defense was the linebacker spot.
