The SEC is once again recruiting at a high level. At the mid-point of the season, eight schools in the conference have at least five ESPN 300 commits. Alabama leads the way with 13 ESPN 300 commits, followed by LSU with 12. New Georgia head coach Kirby Smart is off to a good start with the Bulldogs by landing commitments from 11 ESPN 300 prospects. Florida and Auburn are tied for fourth in the conference with nine top 300 players each.
