BATON ROUGE, La. -- Sometimes in our rush to anoint the next big thing, we overlook the perfectly good thing that’s still around.
Perhaps that happened to some degree this offseason with Ed Paris, who played a lot over LSU’s past three seasons, even if he made just two career starts at cornerback before shifting to safety late last fall.
“I always played a lot no matter what, no matter what game or how many times, I always played, I got on the field, so I don’t think [not starting was] tough,” Paris said. “I think you’re just learning.
