BATON ROUGE, La. -- Of course dozens of NFL scouts and a handful of head coaches and general managers were on hand last week when LSU held its pro day workouts.
That’s expected at a program that has had more overall players (62) and early entrants (27) drafted than any other over the last decade.
But what those NFL reps witnessed at this year’s pro day might have been unique even for a program with LSU’s draft history. This draft class will probably become the biggest in program history - and it has a chance to rank among the best all-time for any program.
