LSU Basketball Defies the Odds and Does it Again

Related Topics: Kentucky, Tennessee, Tremont Waters, Odds

What a game for LSU Basketball. The Tigers didn’t have their starting Tremont Waters due to an illness, Naz Reid scored one point the entire game, and it was up to a freshman to lead the way.

Ja’Vonte Smart came in and did a great job leading the team, and without him or Skylar Mays, LSU would not have won that game.

Smart scored 29 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Mays scored 23 points and had two assists, one steal, and one block.

The freshman made 41 percent of his shots and was 9-10 from the foul line.
