Lane Kiffin has had a great week at The University of Alabama. Last Saturday he choreographed a 52-6 pasting of his former team who fired him at 3am on the tarmac at LAX and now he has a freshly approved raise and small extension to his current contract.
Kiffin will get paid $1.4 million over an 8 month period until Feb. 28, 2017 during the third and final year of his current contract. This makes Kiffin the highest paid Alabama assistant coach, ahead of Jeremy Pruitt, who makes $1 million per year on his current deal.
