In the final game of Kentucky's regular season, freshman guard Reed Sheppard proved he's a star with a huge performance against No. 4 Tennessee.
Sheppard had 27 points, five assists and five rebounds in No. 15 Kentucky's 85-81 win over the Vols on Saturday. Sheppard put up ridiculous numbers from deep, shooting 9-of-14 from beyond the arc in the upset.
Kentucky fans have known how good Sheppard is for a while—he averages 12.2 points per game off the bench for the Wildcats—but on Saturday, he put the nation on notice by leading his team to a signature win to close out the season.
