The LSU Tigers bolstered their future secondary Sunday, securing a commitment from highly touted cornerback recruit Kary Vincent Jr.

According to 247Sports' composite rankings, the 4-star prospect is the No. 17 cornerback, No. 18 player from Texas and No. 122 prospect in the 2017 recruiting class.
Vincent was pursued heavily by in-state schools such as TCU, Texas A&M and Texas throughout his recruitment but also received interest from other high-profile programs across the nation such as Oregon, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Florida, per 247Sports.
