Jeremy Pruitt Reportedly Finalizing Contract to Become Tennessee Head Coach

Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban apparently will lose another defensive coordinator to an SEC rival after the Tennessee Volunteers reportedly hired Jeremy Pruitt on Wednesday.

Jimmy Hyams of Sports Radio WNML reported Pruitt "accepted the job," while Chris Low of ESPN.com reported Tennessee was "in the process of trying to finalize a deal." Low noted Tennessee also interviewed Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and Georgia defensive coordinator Mel Tucker.
