JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- With barely three minutes remaining left in what would be Florida's third straight win over rival Georgia, Gators linebacker Jarrad Davis planted his feet exactly 2 yards past midfield, standing at the bottom of the "S" inside the SEC emblem stamped in the middle of EverBank Field.
Seeing the red-clad formation in front of him, Davis waited, patience keeping him grounded on fourth-and-3. As soon as quarterback Jacob Eason was flushed to his right, Davis got a bead on receiver Javon Wims streaking over the middle. Seconds later, Wims snagged Eason's desperation pass just ahead of the line of scrimmage, only to be confronted by Davis, who wrapped Wims up at Georgia's 45-yard line and dragged him down 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage.
