LSU made a serious splash on the recruiting trail Monday when athlete JaCoby Stevens joined its 2017 class.
Shea Dixon of 247Sports shared word of Stevens' decision from his announcement.
The 6’2” and 200-pound Stevens played wide receiver and safety in high school and is a 4-star prospect, per 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is also the No. 27 overall player, the No. 2 safety and the No. 2 player from the state of Tennessee in the 2017 class.
The multitalented Stevens drew interest from many of the top schools in the country during the recruiting cycle, including LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, Florida State and Miami, among others.
