In a sea of talent, ArDarius Stewart emerges as a star for Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- There’s an Alabama player leading the SEC in receiving yards and touchdowns. It’s just not the Alabama player you’d expect.

The first thought would be wide receiver Calvin Ridley, last year’s breakout freshman who emerged as the Crimson Tide’s No. 1 target after the first month of the season. He led the SEC last year with 89 catches. If not Ridley, maybe it’s O.J. Howard. The senior finished last year on a high note with 208 yards and two touchdowns in the national championship game.

But it’s not Ridley.
