Head coach Kirby Smart has finally decided on who his new defensive back coach will be. Georgia announced that Charlton Warren received the position after taking on the same role at Florida last season.
Warren is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and played defensive back at Air Force. He coached at Tennessee during the 2017 season as the Volunteers defensive backs and special teams coordinator. Warren also spent time at North Carolina from 2015-16, Nebraska in 2014 and Air Force from 2005 to 2013 in a variety of roles.
“Charlton is from Atlanta and has a wide range of experience coaching defensive football at several universities and conferences around the country,” Kirby Smart said in a Georgia Sports Communication announcement.
