It could have been Nick Chubb and Sony Michel grinding against a Georgia Tech defense Tuesday night in Georgia’s Stegeman Coliseum. The results were the same. The Georgia basketball Bulldogs romped through a Georgia Tech basketball defense to score 44 second half points on a 71 percent shooting second half, including 67 percent from behind the three-point arc.
The Dawgs complemented the offensive effort with Lorenzo Carter and Davin Bellamy style defensive pressure. Georgia held Tech to 25 percent shooting that included no makes on seven attempts from beyond the arc.
