HOOVER, Ala. -- If you’ve not heard the name Deatrich Wise Jr., you might not be alone. The Arkansas defensive end didn’t start a single game last season, and he didn’t record his first sack until Week 6 against Alabama.
Yet, Wise led the Razorbacks with eight sacks, and despite starting only one game in his four years at Arkansas, he’s ranked No. 24 on Mel Kiper’s Too-Early Big Board for the 2017 NFL draft.
“My father always told me ‘I don’t care if you play one snap or 100 snaps, when you go out there, give it your all,’” Wise said.
