The Florida Gators survived a furious fourth-quarter rally from the South Carolina Gamecocks, and kept their College Football Playoff hopes alive with a 24-14 win on the road on Saturday.
In a matchup of two teams formerly headed by Steve Spurrier, the Gators defense was staunch for all but a few minutes late in this game, at one point only allowing 43 total yards into the fourth quarter.
