Florida Football: More suspensions for the season opener

Related Topics: Florida Gators football, Florida

This has not been the offseason that the Florida football program wanted. They cleaned up on the recruiting trail and now have the no. 7 recruiting class in the country according to 247sports’ team recruiting rankings. That’s the good news.

The bad news is that every time you look up, another Florida football player is being suspended for the season opener. The Gators were already going to be without their best offensive playmaker in wide receiver Antonio Callaway, as well as offensive tackle Kadeem Telfort, defensive ends Keivonnis Davis and Jordan Smith, defensive tackle Richerd Desir-Jones, and linebackers James Houston and Ventrell Miller.
